All standard Butler-Cote™ 25-year fluoropolymer color finishes feature a Solar Reflectance Index (SRI) of 29 or greater. with a 45 year life expectancy.

The standard exterior paint finish for all Butler panels and trim is the Butler-Cote system, consisting of a full strength 70% Kynar 500® or Hylar 5000® PVDF resin-base fluoropolymer finish.

The Butler-Cote system resists the chalking and fading that often leaves a building looking drab and dated. Our 25-year warranty guarantees that, on roof and wall panel standard colors, chalking will not exceed a rating of #8 and fading will not exceed 5∆E color difference units. The warranty also covers peeling, cracks, or chipping of the paint finish.

While many manufacturers’ warranties are prorated after a certain period of time, we offer our Butler-Cote roof and wall panel warranty for a full 25 years—with no prorating. It’s a testament to our high-performance standards.
