Series 700 — Heavy Duty Industrial Grade Man Door

When security, durability, and heavy daily use are non-negotiable, the Butler Series 700 is your door. Built with heavy-gauge galvanized steel and a reinforced frame, the Series 700 is engineered for warehouses, manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and any high-traffic industrial environment. This is the toughest man door in the Butler lineup — period.
Series 700 Commercial Door Standard Features
Doors
18 gauge galvanized (A60), polyurethane, “R11”, insulated core, interlocking seam. Doors meet commercial Steel Door Institute (SDI) standards.
Frames
Welded frame. 16 gauge galvanized (A60), 5 3/4″ standard frame profile, interlocking mitered-corner connection (then welded). Frames meet commercial Steel Door Institute (SDI) standards.
Locks
SCHLAGE Grade 2, AL53PD-626-SAT. Meets ANSI A156.2 series 4000, grade 2 requirements. Three-year warranty. Thru bolted for added strength. Free wheeling vandal resistant lever.
Subjambs
Proprietary offset subjamb/jamb anchor system. 16 gauge galvanized (A40 minimum) subjamb. Polyethylene block anchors stiffen jambs and allow for offset design. Self trimming, no jamb trim required.
Paint Finish
All doors and frame have a baked-on beige primer coat meeting ANSI A250 standards. Paint test for salt spray, humidity, and adhesion.
Hinges
Ball bearing silver powder coat hinges with security non-removable pins.
Other
Full 5 3/4″ aluminum threshold, dual finger TPE sweep, and urethane foam weatherseal for kerfless type application. All components meet commercial standards and ADA requirements. Doors are stacked on wood skid, connected through the subjambs, or with separation between for doors without subjambs. Doors are enclosed in OSB for protection during shipping.

SCHLAGE Grade 1 Lever Lock
SCHLAGE D53PD grade 1 entrance lock. Vandal-resistant free-wheeling levers. Independent heavy-duty spring cages for lever support. Thru bolted for positive interlock to door. Tested to 3,000,000 cycles. Five-year warranty.
SCHLAGE Mortise Lever Lock
SCHLAGE heavy-duty grade 1 mortise lever lockset with escutcheon plate. 3/4″ latch throw and 1″ deadbolt throw. Five-year warranty.
Von Duprin/ Falcon Exit Device
Various heavy-duty grade 1 rim exit devices from Von Duprin (Series 22 and 99) and Monarch (18 Series). Various finish and trim options. Three-year warranty.
LCN Auto Closer
Grade 1 surface-applied closer. Backcheck, seep and latch speed adjustment valves. LCN 1261 (moderate duty); LCN 1461 (moderate-to-heavy-duty); and LCN 4040XP (extra-heavy-duty). Ten-year warranty.
Latch Guard
Steel latch guard with chrome finish. Prevents tampering with the latch on lever locks.

18 gauge galvanized (A40), polyurethane core, square edge. flush-mounted top channel. Doors meet commercial Steel Door Institute (SDI) Standards.
Frames
16 gauge galvanized (A40), 5 3/4″ frame depth with 2″ x 2″ header and 4″ x 1 3/4″ subframe header. Frames meet commercial Steel Door Institute (SDI) standards.
Locks
Falcon Grade 2 W511-626-Dane. Thru bolted for strength. Free wheeling vandal resistant lever. Ten-year warranty.
Subjambs
16 gauge subjambs replace the need for a framed opening. Full 7’2″ in height and can be modified to fit various wall conditions. 12 gauge adjustable clips to attach to the girt and floor.
Paint Finish
All doors and frames are baked-on primer paint, meeting ANSI A250 Standards. Tested for salt spray, humidity, abrasion, and adhesion.
