The Right Ridge Vent for Every Butler Building Application
Proper ventilation is one of the most critical and most overlooked components of any commercial or industrial steel building. Without it hot air builds up in summer, condensation forms in winter, and the result is rust, mold, deteriorated insulation and costly product damage inside your facility.
Butler Building Roof Ridge Vents solve all of that. Running continuously along the ridge of your Butler building roof they create a natural airflow path that keeps your building interior comfortable, dry and protected year round. Available in throat sizes from 4 inches all the way up to 48 inches with custom lengths available for any project requirement.
Continuous Ridge Vents
Butler Building Roof Ridge Vents are available with or without dampers giving you full control over airflow based on your facility’s specific operational needs. Pull chains are the standard operator for dampered units with multiple damper operator options available for installations using two or more units. Standard ridge ventilators ship with a 1:12 end cap and can be easily field modified to accommodate roof pitches up to 6:12. For Butler buildings with roof pitches greater than 6:12 custom ordered ventilators are available to match your exact roof specifications.
Standard Sizes
9″ throat and 12″ throat available in 10′ sections. Low profile design can be used for a single unit or continuous run installation with no disassembly.
Other throat sizes available include 4″, 15″, 18″, 24″, 30″, 36″, 42″ and 48″ options. For custom lengths or throat sizes, please contact us.
Removes hot stale and contaminated air
Continuously pushes out hot stale and contaminated air through the ridge while drawing fresh outside air in at the lower building openings keeping your facility environment clean and safe.
Integral Dampers
Easy-moving dampers open to any degree, from fully open to completely closed.
Design
Aerodynamically proportioned to exclude weather. Protects air passages and full outlet area.
Bird Screen
Vents are fully protected by bird screen mesh galvanized hardware cloth.
Construction
Durable 26-gauge exterior, combined with internal components of 24, 20 and 18-gauge die formed sheet metal and machined parts for a long service life.
Metallic Products also offers welded large throat vents, available in multiple sizes.
Finish
Galvalume finish is standard, but other colors — including Kynar® — are available upon request.
Drainage Area
Both wind bands feature a continuous slot on the bottom for easy drainage.
